  • Who’s covered: This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable, except where non‑transferability is prohibited by law.

  • Region‑specific rights: Some jurisdictions provide additional statutory rights (e.g., mandatory two‑year conformity rights in the EU). Nothing here limits those rights.

  1. Repair the Product, or

  2. Replace it with an equal or better model (new or refurbished), or

  • Straps and accessories (if supplied) as consumables.

  • Water exposure beyond the rated resistance, or with the crown not fully secured (push‑in or screw‑down, as applicable), or if gaskets were not maintained/replaced at service intervals.

  • Damage from misuse or improper handling, including: shocks/impacts, drops, crushing, extreme temperatures, vibration, opening the case, or incorrect operation.

  • Chemicals: exposure to soaps, detergents, solvents, cosmetics, perfumes, insect repellents or other chemicals that may degrade seals, coatings, leather or finishes.

  • Magnetism: accuracy issues or stoppage caused by exposure to magnetic fields.

7) Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, AIM and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, including lost time, lost profits, loss of use, or personal property damage, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

  • AIM’s total cumulative liability for any claim relating to the Product shall not exceed the purchase price you paid for the Product.

  • Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages; in those places, these limitations apply only to the extent permitted.

8) Water Resistance & Use Guidance (Important)

  • Water resistance is not permanent. Gaskets age and should be replaced at service.

  • Ensure the crown is fully pushed/screwed in before any contact with water.

  • Do not operate the crown/pushers underwater.

  • Chemical exposure (soaps, detergents, cosmetics, perfumes) and prolonged sunlight/UV can degrade seals, finishes and leather—avoid or minimize exposure and allow skin products to fully dry before wearing.

9) Accuracy Guidance

  • Mechanical automatic movements have acceptable accuracy ranges under normal conditions. Environmental factors (temperature, position, magnetism, shocks) may affect rate. Unless sold as a certified chronometer, minor timing variation is normal and not a defect.
